The Little Rams Trick or Treat

The Little Rams held their annual Trick or Treat program for preschoolers on the first floor October 30th during second and third period. This program is said to have gone on since the beginning of the schools opening. Rachel Campise, the teen parenting teacher, was the organizer.

“It’s great to get the entire school involved in a preschool activity, because many people don’t know we’re here,” Campise said.

Many teachers were involved in the activity and even got their students to join by passing out candy. The preschoolers were overjoyed to be able to do an activity such as this one.

“They were excited. This year we have a lot of young 3-year-olds, so they didn’t quite understand they were supposed to say ‘trick or treat’, but none-the-less, they loved it. Bright smiles and lots of giggles,” Campise said.

Some teachers even go as far as decorating the room for this activity all to see the joy on the children’s faces.

“Everyone loves seeing them [the preschoolers]. I hear, ‘They’re so cute and little’ all the time, so it’s safe to say people enjoy seeing them around. We love Mr. Parker because he always has some type of “haunted house” planned for the kids… This year there was even a fog machine!” Campise said.

Having a campus become so involved in activities like these are a great deal to the ram nation’s hearts and can bring student and teacher bodies together for what little joy there is.
