Pep Rally that started off the Football season
The first pep rally of the year started with a bang read to find out all the football results till now.

With the start of the new year, everyone is getting settled in; with freshman trying to become more comfortable in a new setting. To help move this process along cypress ridge hosted their first pep rally on Friday, September 7. The theme for the pep rally was “Tie em up mustangs” as the football team went against the Morton Ranch Mustangs. It was the first game to kick off the start of the football season.
The pep rally featured eight out of the many electives in our school. Band, The Dazzlers, Color Guard, B-boyz, Football, Cheerleaders, JROTC, and Choir. While the pep rally was to celebrate the start of the football season, there was one student who represented our Rams wrestling team. Patrick Tran won a championship August 24 in Las Vegas, Nevada. it was a 4-day event and Tran competed on the last day.
“it was one of the toughest experiences I ever experienced, because of the hard work I had to go through,” Tran said. “I got selected last minute and I was just stuck in training, and eating to get ready for it.”
Tran announced his win during the pep rally where friends and students congratulated his win before continuing with the pep rally. After Trans announcement the first people to perform at the pep rally were the B-boyz who showed their amazing dance skills and had hosted auditions Wednesday, September 12; to gain new members in room 1850 for both boys and girls.
Afterward, the cheerleaders were next to perform and did many tricks to excite the crowds. The Dazzlers were next to perform also showing off their amazing dances that caused even more excitement in the crowd. Towards the beginning, Choir performed the national anthem with JROTC presenting the American and Texan flag. Band and color guard performed at the beginning, middle, and end of the pep rally together.

The football game featured Rams vs Mustangs, with Rams winning 36 to 33, the football season was off to a great start. The second game was against Jersey Village Falcons and Cypress Ridge Rams, The Rams lost to the Falcons 21 to 25.
The third football game was on Thursday, September 20th against Stratford High School, where the Rams won 21 to 24. Be sure to attend the football games to support your fellow Rams, and be sure to be there for the homecoming football game on Friday, October 26.
