The Cypress Ridge Orchestras concluded a very successful UIL season last Thursday, April 19th.  The first contest commenced on March 7th, just before spring break.  For the eighth year in a row, Varsity Orchestras and Non-Varsity Philharmonia Orchestra earned Sweepstakes awards at our annual concert and sight-reading contests.

Sub Non-Varsity Orchestra competed this year for only the second time in its existence and earned a second division rating. This orchestra consists of some of the beginner musicians, and they experienced growth and improvement over the school year.
