Sold! At the Ram Band Silent Auction!

The Cypress Ridge Band hosted the Annual Silent Auction on February 6th at 7pm in the Commons. Items such as gift baskets, and the big ticket item, an Apple Watch were up for grabs to the highest bidder. Meals were provided by Chick-fil-a, Olive Garden, Raising Cane’s, Texas Roadhouse, and other sponsors.

Each of the bands played some pieces from their UIL Concert music.The Cadet band under the direction of Mr. Armando Robledo played Wind Sketch by john Edmondson, and Bach: Bist Du Bei Mir arranged by Anne McGinty,  The Concert Band, under the direction of Mr. Gregory Anikienko played Nightsong by richard L Saucedo, The Double Eagle (Concert March) by John Edmondson, and Fortius by Rob Romeyn. The Symphonic band, under the direction of Ms. Ogechi Ukazu played Courtly Airs and Dances by Ron Nelson, and I Am by Andrew Boysen Jr. The Wind Ensemble under the direction of Robledo Played In Storm and Sunshine by John Clifford Heed, Alborada move

The Symphony Orchestra also made an appearance at the end of the auction wrapping things up with Eine Steppenskizze by Alexander Borodin, and Franz Schubert Symphony No. 8 “Unfinished”.
