The highly decorated Cy-Ridge tennis team swung into action over the weekend at the Cy-Fair tournament on Thursday and the Clear Creek ISD tournament on Friday and Saturday. 

Ryan Criswell annihilated the field and took home the gold medal in boys singles. 

Kayla Adderley and Kaitlyn Nguyen won silver medals in girls doubles.

Maya Dorris won the bronze medal in girls singles.

Alton Cunningham and Mel Correa won bronze in boys doubles.

Honorable mentions go to Daniel Chow and Jose Guerrero. After four grueling matches on Friday afternoon, Daniel Chow was a finalist at the Clear Creek tournament. Daniel lost in the final by only two points in a nail biting tie breaker due to extreme muscle cramping. It was an epic battle that lasted into the late hours of Friday night.

Jose Guerrero advanced as a semi-finalist in his division into Saturday morning at Clear Creek, but he fell to Seven Lakes.
