There’s many different ways to zentangle and create new and creative patterns on simple things like a notebook, laptop cover, or even a photograph. This zentangle will be on a notepad, hence the personal initials and colors. You can use any patterns you would like but you will see a variety of pattern in the notepad zentangled in the video. The pens you use are completely up to you, if you would like thinner lines a micro pen is recommended but if you would like thicker lines, a sharpie or flair pen will be useful.
