The JROTC, the Mighty Ram band, students and faculty paid tribute to veterans for their patriotism and service on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at the flag pole in front of the school. The JROTC presented the colors and raised the flag while the marching band performed the national anthem.

Seven faculty members at Cypress Ridge served or currently serve in the armed forces – SMSgt James Core (United States Air Force), Yusuf Dadabhoy (United States Navy), Archie Grigsby (United States Air Force), Danny Harrell (United States Air Force), Yolanda Holden (United States Navy), Bryan Moses (United States Army),  and Lt Col Porforio Munoz (United States Air Force).
