Students of Cypress Ridge are now required to wear ID badges while on campus. Every student will receive their badges during their second period class next week and will be given a free green, white or blue lanyard. All students are expected to wear the IDs beginning immediately.

The badges will be used to purchase food in the cafeteria and to check out books at the library. All students will be required to wear their badges every day to board and get off the bus. Parents can register their child’s RIFD number found on the back of the ID at www.zpassplus.com to receive transportation notifications.

Students are free to wear a lanyard of their choice as long as the picture of their ID is visible and unaltered. If a student loses their ID badge, they will be required to pay $1 for a daily replacement badge.  Any ID that is lost, damaged or destroyed must be replaced for a $5 fee. Cypress Ridge students can get a replacement badge before first period at the attendance office or during their lunch.

These cards are a measure to securing a safe environment here at Cypress Ridge. The ID badge will be implement at elementary, middle and high schools throughout CFISD.
