The Ram Band to compete in UIL contest

Cypress-Fairbanks ISD will host the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Region 27 Marching Contest on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 11 a.m. at the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road). The Cypress Ridge marching band perform at 1:45 PM.

All 10 CFISD high schools and two Spring Branch ISD Class 6A schools will participate in the event.

“The band programs in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD continue to be leaders in innovation in the scholastic marching arts community and this year is no exception to that,” said John Morrison, CFISD director of secondary music. “We hope that the CFISD community will join us at the Berry Center on Oct. 17 for what we know will be an afternoon of entertaining marching band productions by our talented students.”

Admission for the event is $5. Children 12 and under, senior citizens and patrons with the CFISD Super Senior pass are free to attend. The performance schedule is as follows:
