The soccer men varsity team played on Friday, April 7 against Channelview High School at Deer Park. With the help of Coach Christopher Helton, Coach Daniel Cantu and Coach Joffrey Craven the young men were able to achieve a spot in the Region III soccer team tournament.

Although the game resulted in a loss for the soccer team, their hard work played off on their journey to the Friday night game.

The game began with a big turn out of the student body cheering on the varsity team in the stands.

At the end of the game, the soccer team came down to a tied game of 1 to 1 in regulation, followed by two extra periods that lasted for 10 minutes with same results of a tied game. By the end of the game, the team losts with a score of 5-6 in penalty kicks.
